Northern Virginia real estate continues to favor buyers. The market has slowed and homes are taking a longer to sell. The average number of days on the market has gone up to 93 from 85 a year ago. Prices will probably continue to slowly trend... MORE->

Fairfax County is still a great market for buyers. Prices are down 21.5% over prices last year and the days on market are up 7.5%. There are still great buys out there with lots of inventory from which to choose...a whopping 6835 properties.... MORE->

Inventory of active listings (single family + condos) decreased from 7106 at the end of September to 6835 at the end of October. Total sales decreased from 1257 units to 1132. The absorbtion rate or month's supply increased from 5.65 to 6.04 months.... MORE->
