In September, 2008, 24 single family homes sold in zip 37221, avg days on the market 108, and avg price $252,229. Currently, there are 289 homes on the market. To sell, homes have to be aggressively priced--it is not fun to be chasing the market... MORE->

The super strong housing market experienced in the past few years returned to more typical levels in 2008. The mortgage lending situation certainly contributed by tightening the availability of funds. However, Nashville continues to be a hot spot... MORE->
