REMINDER: Jumbo loans will only be available until December 31, 2008. The government takeover of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae this September has caused interest rates to drop significantly and a rise in home mortgage applications. The National Association of Realtors also predicts a rise in real estate prices in the coming months due to the increase in multiple offers on listings signalling the "bottom" of the market.

If you are interested in purchasing or selling a home, please give me a call at 571-722-4348 so we can set up an appointment to discuss your needs. I allow my clients maximum use of my time and personal attention in order to find their dream homes. I can also recommend lenders such as our affiliate: Choice Mortgage, that uses Wells Fargo products and can get my clients a pre-qualification letter in less than 20 minutes!

If you have a home to sell, your property needs to be in the finest condition possible: good curb appeal, fresh paint, clean carpets and some updated kitchen and bathroom features for today's very discerning buyers. My team can provide you with full service real estate services that include "staging" to freshen up the interior. Please call 571-722-4348 to obtain a comparative sales analysis of homes in your neighborhood as well as an up-to-date seller's estimate.

Location Characteristics: Across the Potomac from Washington, DC, Alexandria was once a Colonial seaport that was founded in 1749. It was George Washington's hometown where Thomas Jefferson entertained at Gadsby's Tavern and Robert E. Lee worshipped at Christ Church. It is recognized for its 18th- and 19th- century architecture and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Five Metro stations offer ease of travel to its award-winning restaurants, eclectic shopping and wide array of hotels.
