With Mortgage Interest Rates falling below 5% this past couple of weeks, buyers have become more anxious to start looking for a home and securing a low rate. The average price for homes sold in Pleasant View during the fourth quarter of 2008, was around $198,500., with the average days on market 75 days. This area continues to seem to do well and is a hot spot for building both in residential and commercial. Many people are now considering this to be one of the best areas to live, especially with the new Frontrunner Train making transportation easier than ever. North Ogden, Pleasant View, Farr West and the surrounding areas all seem to be areas that are very appealing to buyers. With all the new sub-divisions being built, the North Ogden area is a great place to live. The increase in Retail Stores, along with easy access to I-15 North and South, make this area attractive to those looking to buy in our area. The Frontrunner Train services Ogden to Salt Lake, making this area even more attractive to potential buyers. This will result in more homes sold. More and more people are beginning to look to Farr West, Hooper, Plain City and Pleasant View, for the perfect out of the city, country feel location to make their homes. Low interest rates make it a great opportunity for buyers and this is the perfect time to make some great buys and build your equity. Approximate Location Boundaries: Pleasant View is located north of Ogden, surrounded by Plain City, Farr West, and other small communities to the West.

Location Characteristics: Pleasant View has become an excellent place to build or buy homes, due to it location and beautiful setting along the Wasatch Mountain Front. Many new homes have been built in the past few years and home sales in this area seem to be very strong. The area is perfect all types of recreation including hiking, biking, camping, skiing and with all the new outlets being built a perfect community to do your shopping.
