Mortgage Interest rates have hit an all time low. Who would have guess that we would be seeing rates below 5% and they are predicted to hit 41/2%. What does this mean for you the home buyer and seller? Well it seems that things are starting to look up. The market is still slower than in the past, however we have seen it starting to come back which is great news for all of us. In 2007 the average sale price of a home in Bountiful was $341,000, with the average around $275,000, up from the last two months of 2008. The days on market during the last quarter averaged about 75 and remain about the same anywhere from 65 to 70 days. Utah still has a high demand in the Real Estate Market. The number of people moving to Utah is increasing, our unemployment rate is around 2.5 % and Utah is the choice for re-location of many large corporations, which is bringing new jobs to our areas.
