Well it's hard to keep up with all that's going on in the national news regarding the economy, but the news in Dallas is very different than the rest of the nation. While the rest of the nation has been hit hard year to date, Dallas has only felt the effects the last couple of months. While we are in a soft market, Dallas is considered the #1 place to live and to relocate. That translates to housing sales. Prices are down from last year as well as the number of sales, but prices have only dropped slightly. Consumer confidence is the hardest obstacle we have to overcome. Because of that, it's a great time to buy....sellers are more realistic in pricing and are very motivated.
