Sales declined again in November. The number of new and active listings continued to declined helping to keep supply/demand in balance. For the year to date the average and median sales price is still possitive. Allen has one of the lowest supply of homes available for sale in the area. The homes that are in the best condition and priced correctly sell quickly.

Solds: 62 a 40% decrease,
Avg. Sale Price:$202,464 a 17% decrease,
Days on Market: 81 a 0% increase.

There is currently a 4.4 months supply of homes for sale.

YEAR TO DATE THROUGH NOVEMBER:

Sales: 1,195 a 17% decrease
Average Sales Price: $243,087 a 4% increase
Median sales Price: $199,900 a 2% increase
New Listings: 1,837 a 22% decrease

FOR THE YEAR 2007:

Solds: 1,507 a 16% decrease
Avg Sales Price: $233,308 a 4% increase
Median Sales Price: 195,000 a 5% increase
New Listings: 2,465 an 8% decrease

FOR THE YEAR 2006:

New Listings: 2,682 a 7% increase
Solds: 1,769 a 5% increase
Avg. Sale Price: $224,313 a 10% increase
Median Sale Price: $187,000 a 6% increase
