Sales in Gilbert were up 6% vs 2007 for November 2008 (+7% YTD), as the market appears to be turning the corner! Still, it appears the market will continue to struggle for another 18-24 months. If you are "thinking" about buying a home now may be the perfect time with rates still at historical lows, prices are down and supply way up! There are currently around 2158 homes and condo's for sale in Gilbert, which is roughly a 7.5 months' supply. The average cummulative days a home stays on the market before it sells is now 129 ( last year it was 125 days). Total 2007 sales dropped 19% vs 2006. I could overwhelm you with statistics, yet it all boils down to "It's a Buyer's Market". . . and I love working with buyers, , .
