  • Agent Publicity Package
In 1997, we started this company with a goal - to find out what agents needed to be more successful and provide the solution in a user-friendly, reasonably priced package. We wanted something that could work for a new agent just becoming familiar with computers, but that would also appeal to more experienced professionals. With this as our foundation, we created the Agent Publicity Package. Each of the components work together to provide you with a seamless, effective, easy to use marketing system. The Agent Publicity Package makes you look professional, internet savvy and knowledgeable. In order to keep our customers happy, we welcome all feedback. We know our products work for agents because agents helped us create them.

Market Conditions Reporting Program - Released November 20, 2001
What do all buyers and sellers want? What do only Realtors possess?

Detailed knowledge of local market conditions.

As many technology companies have learned, some homes data can be easily automated, but there is always something missing - local insider data that only the hard-working, experienced local real estate professional has.

    Until now.

Realty Times has created a way for Realtors to showcase their experience with a new marketing tool that takes Internet exposure beyond Web sites and homes for sale. Realty Times' Market Conditions ReportTM is quick, easy-to-use, and provides unique exposure for agents on some of the most highly trafficked real estate Web sites on the Internet.

"The first question any consumer asks an agent is, "What is going on in the market?" says Realty Times' CEO Jody Lane.

"Consumers can find homes for sale, mortgage rates, and community information, but they have no way of knowing what is going on in a particular market. We've given agents a way to report "Market Conditions" - as they see it - in the cities, towns and areas they service," explains Lane. "Each time the agent reports a market condition using their own data and opinion, it is immediately posted within that neighborhood area. This data is posted in real time on Realty Times and all other sites that have agreed to host the Market Conditions Report. Best of all, each report has a link back to the agent's Web site."

Real Estate Update - released November 19, 1998
Noticing the number of e-mail requests from agents and companies asking for reprint information, Jody Lane - President and CEO of Realty Times - had a brainstorm. He knew that the unique nature of Realty Times meant that he was in a position to offer a service that no one else could - a monthly e-newsletter with award winning content.

"All an agent needs is E-mail," says Real Times publisher Jody Lane. "Sign up, and we'll do the rest." Each agent's version of the newsletter is already filled with content and customized with the agent's personal information.

"Creating a newsletter is one of the most time-consuming methods there is to keep your name before customers, clients, associates, and allied partners," says REALTOR Jennie Ling. "To make a good newsletter, you have to scour the papers for news, ask for reprint permission, and write your own articles, not to mention supplying graphics, and paying the printing and mailing costs. No wonder few agents go to the trouble... but the reason I did, is that it is one of my most effective contact tools. Real Estate Update will remove a big, time-consuming chore for me."

Jeff Johns, president of The Johns Group, a strategic consulting firm for on-line real estate products, says, "The Real Estate Update represents the first significant step forward in marketing tools for Realtors on-line. More than just a home page or personal resume page, it provides a real starting point between clients and agents. "

Printable Real Estate Update - released February 16, 1999
Shortly after the release of the on-line version of the Real Estate Update, we began receiving requests for a printable newsletter. "Some agents were worried about contacting clients without e-mail addresses," says Jody Lane, President and CEO of Realty Times, "Others wanted handouts for listing presentations and open houses. There was a definite need for a printable newsletter."

One of the down sides to producing a printed newsletter is the time it takes to go to and from the printer and the cost involved in press setup charges, paper, etc. Realty Times wanted to limit the stress level of print newsletter users and created a version that can be produced off of any computer printer. "This way, you can tell the computer to print out 50 copies from home and know they'll be ready for delivery in just a matter of minutes. You save time, money and frustration using this newsletter," comments Lane. If you do want higher quality prints, you may want to hire a printer. The great thing about the Printable Real Estate Update is that you can simply e-mail your printer the link to your newsletter and never have to leave the office.

    Custom Newsfeed - released May 12, 2000
From the launch in 1997, Realty Times quickly grew to become the most visited real estate news web site. In 2000, Realty Times was voted "Best Real Estate News and Advice" by Yahoo! Internet Life, and it remains the newsfeed of choice for major industry sites. Some of Realty Times' notable partners include RE/MAX, Homestore.com, Yahoo! Real Estate, HomeSeekers.com, and Homes.com. With the increasing popularity of our news came the desire for companies and agents to add our newsfeed to their websites.

"Rather than having websites frame our content into their site, we decided to create a more personalized, branded version," says Jody Lane, President of Realty Times, "We created this newsfeed to look and feel just like our readers' sites - whether that was an individual agent, or a large organization such as Realty Executives. Just like everything we create, we wanted it to be easy to navigate, hassle free and filled with great content."

Agents or companies interested in the custom newsfeed can sign up and have our design team create the perfect look for their site. Once created, the newsfeed is hosted on a special link on our server that we update every business day. All you have to do is add the link to your site one time, and your newsfeed is automatically updated for you.
